TIDAL FERIOS G2

The newly updated Ferios G2 monos were launched at Munich highend in 2024, exhibited for the first time with Contros and Contriva G2. Listeners witnessed a large sonic upgrade over the outgoing G2 model. Blacker, a lot more space, even greater clarity and incredible decay and microdetail, of the like we have only ever heard from the Assoluta Monos. What was just as startling is that the Contros has even more to give that we previously thought possible.

The Ferios did not need improving, certainly not at their price point, but Tidal have moved the boundaries on again and the commensurate price increase is modest compared to the sonic achievements created here. Ferios G2 will deliver from Q4 2024.

  • ultralow impedance capacitors directly at the transistors for most shortest connection
  • TIDAL proprietary APM system (amplifier protection management) is completely outside of the signal path
  • TIDAL APM System is an isolated and completely autarkic system to manage and control the power amps safety: output current in relation to output-voltage, short circuit current, DC- offset, under-voltage und excess voltage
  • optional: fully autarcic working active crossover LPX-monomodule for active amping to control the bass section of TIDAL reference speakers, perfectly matched in phase and frequency, different frequencies and level adjustable to trim bass response perfectly to each room and/or taste
