In a world where highend racks with proprietary technologies can crest £40,000 it pays to have a rethink about exactly what a rack does and how important it is vis-à-vis cables, mains, room acoustics and grounding.
Since the very beginning we have advocated the use of isolation feet under equipment to combat structural /airborne vibration and mechanical noise and if you follow this route then a simple and more inexpensive Hifi rack is a possible route.
Neo from Slovakia fit this brief perfectly. The range is is four strong with a further three double width options. From the economical Light Tripod range to the flagship Quattron Reference there is a product to suit everyone and all systems. The finish options are exhaustive in both matte and gloss and the machined legs can also be ordered in different finishes other than just the standard Stainless steel. There is also a very good range of amp stands in Tripod, Quattron and Quattron Reference lines.
These are substantial racks, rigid and stable with sonically favourable MDF Shelving and anti resonance technology in the legs. The quality and workmanship is first rate.

There is also a lower cost “Light Tripod” range with smaller 30mm diameter legs and 25mm shelving, priced at only £350 – £480 per level so a 3 shelf rack would come in under £1000.
