Regular customers will know that we are fans of ingenuity that comes out of South Korea. Like Hemingway Cables, HifiStay is another Seoul based outfit who promise much with their creative technology and high precision craftsmanship.

Their inception and first patent actually dates back to 2002 and whilst their products have always reviewed extremely well and their activity has been consistent in the East Asian markets, only in 2017 when they first participated at the Munich High End show in Germany did their precense begin to be felt more here in Europe.

We have been watching them with interest for the last few years but during Munich of last year 2023, with two of our closest partners both Vitus Audio and Thrax Audio successfully employing their products in their demonstration rooms, they emerged as a very powerful contender to further augment our roster of support, isolation and noise control products.

The Mythology Classic equipment rack is their jewel in the crown, a masterpiece of precision design. It is packed to the brim with unique and intelligent solutions to nullify unwanted noise. It is a product that one can’t help marvelling at, especially when viewing the showpiece example with its cross sectioned appendages and glass fronted connecting feet, displaying all the clever ingenuity contained within. The finish and sturdy build is impressive and as good as anything seen in this section of our industry.

With the firm recommendation from two of our top manufacturers we work with, we trialled a selection of Hifistay products in late 2023 and we were very impressed with what we discovered. Importantly, the noise control action of Hifistay is different to both Stillpoints and Tungsten Grooves which we also offer to customerswhich ultimately gives us even greater firepower when system building. Because the philosophy and technlogy is different, the nature of improvements to units of equipment differs and of course the resultant sound that you achieve. The Hifistay presentation is supremely natural with very compelling improvements to coherency, timing and calmness. HifiStay has the ability to three dimensionally float the entire musical landscape whilst simplifying its structure and refining all of its elements. Needless to say we are very big fans.
